The importance of continuing education
Continuing education has become a priority in most professions. The World Health Organization (WHO) has already endorsed continuing education as an integral element in all medical and paramedical professions. In North America, the British Isles and Italy, continuing education is compulsory for ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians and this will be extended to many other countries in the coming years.
